““I will not always be the most talented person in the room, but I will always be the most prepared, professional, and kind person I can be.””
About Emily:
Emily is a SAG-AFTRA-eligible actor, singer, and writer from Reading, PA. She is currently based in New York City, with local housing in Philadelphia, Atlanta, and the Hudson Valley.
Emily loves to learn and chose to attend three different institutions to complete her BFA in Musical Theatre. Her love of Shakespeare led her to DeSales University (home of the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival), her desire to perfect her audition technique took her to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, and her literary interests guided her to The New School, where she studied the intersectionality of race and gender in American Literature, Contemporary Drama, and, most importantly, screenwriting. As a screenwriter and an actor, Emily’s career goal is to bring back the feeling that Nora Ephron’s rom-coms gave us.
Emily is a passionate baker, a fully obsessed dog mom, and an average-at-best golfer.
What is Emily Up To?
Emily just wrapped work on What May Be, a SAG feature film written by Kate James (TV: Work in Progress) and directed by Blythe Haaga (TV: Work in Progress). Emily played the role of Serafine opposite of Zack Robidas (TV: Succession, Dying for Sex, Sorry For Your Loss, Law & Order: SVU, Friends from College).
Emily recently completed a Contemporary Scene Study class taught by Dan Daily (BWAY: The Minutes).
Emily is writing her first full-length screenplay loosely based on her time in the restaurant industry.
